Why I started Wide Strides

Two years ago, I got fed up with my foot pain and decided to transition to barefoot and natural foot-shaped shoes.

Figuring it all out was hard.

I struggled to find affordable shoes that looked good and performed well. I started Wide Strides to help others avoid the foot pain I experienced. I'm sharing my insights and reviews of barefoot and wide toebox shoes.

Pulled these back out of the closet yesterday @altrarunning vanish carbon 2. Not perfect but a great racing shoe for those that need a wide toe box. Stay tuned for the review coming soon.

Upgraded my daily trainer to the @altrarunning Torin 8's today from my Torin 6's. Took them for a run for the first time🏃‍♂️. My initial thoughts: - Upper is a different material, not as plush as the Altra 7 or 6's and a little harsher - Part
